The Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas will be headed to Austin, TX on Thursday February 16, 2017 on the first leg of its efforts to support liberty-minded Republican Representatives and Senators this session.

While the group will meet with several legislators on a slate of liberty issues, State Chairman, Jeff LeBlanc stated, “We have decided to focus not only on liberty issues, but to put greater pressure on some of the priorities of the Republican Party of Texas. We will certainly do as much as we can to assist Senator Burton’s Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform effort, and additionally any property tax reform bills.” He further added, “The Republican Party of Texas platform continues to evolve slowly to a more liberty-minded document each convention, with a lot of wording of abolishing certain practices and ending federal involvement in state issues that the RLC has always stood against. We should continue to encourage that and assist where we can.”

The event is open to all RLCTX members for free, they just need to register to attend through Eventbrite. That information is located HERE
