RLCCD36 Ends Year On A Good Note

Last evening was the last meeting of the year for the Republican Liberty Caucus of CD 36. Speakers included were: Jeff Larson – RLCTX State Chairman, Dwayne Stovall – Keep Texas Free and Terry Holcomb of Texas Carry.

Vice Chairman, Art Sisneros, reviewed the last year of activity. The caucus was quite active with events from the Ben Swann Forum to primary elections and fighting a local ISD bond. Jeff Larson discussed the liberty movement in general in Texas and what activities have been done and what will be upcoming, such as the RLCTX legislative agenda. Terry Holcomb covered the various legislative moves on open carry and what he expects to come from the session. Lastly, Dwayne Stovall gave a presentation on Keep Texas Free, a deep look into true federalism and how the concept is all but lost on modern day Americans.

On a personal note, this caucus wants to thank each of our members for  their hard work. We also want thank other local parties and groups that have worked with us throughout the year on common issues. Our base is strong as are our associations with other conservative groups. We look forward to 2015 and the coming session.
