After the Republican Liberty Caucus national convention last week in Austin, the RLC of Texas held a very productive meeting with board members from all over the state. Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Pauken was the featured speaker and RLCers were very favorably impressed. Also speaking was J. Shane Howard, one of several RLC members currently holding elective office here in Texas, as County Tax Assessor-Collector in Jefferson County. Very inspiring.
Among the topics discussed were growing membership and expanding our chapters, including creating new chapters in Houston and Dallas, plus scheduling candidate events around the state.as we move into the election season.
