REPUBLICAN LIBERTY CAUCUS ENDORSES CHUCK MEYER FOR CONGRESS IN CD 36
HOUSTON, TX – In the spirit of the legacy of liberty, left by departing Rep. Steve Stockman (R), who is now contesting John Cornyn’s seat in the U.S. Senate race, the Republican Liberty Caucus proudly announces its endorsement of Chuck Meyer to replace him representing Texas CD 36 in Congress.
After careful study of all twelve Republican candidates in the primary race, although several showed considerable primise, the Republican Liberty Caucus board felt confident that Meyer was the best choice to continue the fight for the Constitutional rights of Texans within the U.S. House of Representatives. We have no doubt Meyer be an outstanding representative for the constituents of Congressional District 36 and continue the Stockman tradition of aggressively challenging entrenched political leadership.
Meyer has long been an outspoken proponent of the message of liberty, and is eager to continue the fight to restore the Constitution at the congressional level. He has also been an active supporter of the Houston-area Republican Liberty Caucus, working working to bring conservatives and constitutionalists together to work for the common goal of the preservation and restoration of liberty.
We strongly urge conservative Republican voters to join us in supporting Meyer on his quest to win the party nomination.
