REPUBLICAN LIBERTY CAUCUS ANNOUNCES FIRST ENDORSEMENTS OF 2014

AUSTIN, TX – The Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas board has been meeting and reviewing candidate surveys and is pleased to announce the first round of candidate endorsements for the 2014 Republican primary.

These candidates exemplify the conservative, pro-liberty values which the Republican Liberty Caucus stands for and we look forward to sending these endorsees to Austin to work with RLC endorsed incumbents like David Simpson and Giovanni Capriglione.

T. J. Fabby (Texas House District 10)
Terry Holcomb (Texas House District (18)
Read King (Texas House District 64)
Stacy Chen (Texas House District 66)
Jeffrey Larson (Texas House District 129)
Michael Franks (Texas House District 132)

The Texas legislature spent too much of last session distracted from meaningful legislation and focuses on high-profile, low-substance issues.  Too many good bils never made it to the floor for a vote and opportunities to reduce the size of government and expand the liberty of citizens were lost in the process.

We hope that new leaders like these along with eventual changes in leadership in both houses will result in a new focus on limiting government power, protecting the rights of citizens and fiscal responsibility.

Look for more endorsements soon as the primary season continues.

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas is a grassroots membership organization with chapters all over Texas,  promoting the traditional Republican Party valies of limited government and individual liberty.
